COVID UPDATE 📣

HOSPITALITY VENUE PATRONS AND STAFF MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED BY 17 DECEMBER.

PROOF OF VACCINATION STATUS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY FROM DEC 17.

As per the QLD Government directive, there will be some upcoming changes that will affect your time at Fitzy’s. Please remember this is not our rule; This is a mandatory restriction placed upon venues, their staff and their patrons by the government.

HERE ARE THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM RIGHT NOW:
The Queensland Government has announced that from 17 December, unvaccinated people will be unable to:
✖️Attend hospitality venues such as hotels, pubs, clubs, taverns, bars, restaurants or cafes
✖️Attend indoor entertainment venues such as nightclubs, live music venues, karaoke bars, concerts, theatres or cinemas.

In a nutshell, this means that only fully vaccinated staff and patrons will be legally permitted to enter Fitzy’s Toowoomba from 17 December.

Until the Direction is finalised, we understand there are many areas requiring clarification, including medical exemptions. Please rest assured we are engaged closely with Queensland Hotels Association to keep you informed with the correct information as it comes to hand.
 
In the meantime, we can confirm the following:
✔️The commencement date will be 17 December and no earlier.

✔️From 19 November, you can link your digital vaccination certificate to the Check-In Qld app. Find out how HERE

✔️From December 17, proof of vaccination status is required to enter Fitzy's
✔️Only people aged 16 and over will need to be fully vaccinated to enter.
✔️A person is considered fully vaccinated when they have had two doses of a TGA approved vaccine.
✔️People will still need to check-in to venues via the Check-In Qld app.
✔️Density restrictions will not apply from 17 December.
