THIS FEBRUARY, THE SPOTLIGHT IS ON MATUA SAUVIGNON BLANC


Founded in 1974, Matua was the first New Zealand winery to produce Sauvignon Blanc with an incredible reputation for quality to match. Produced in the country's Sauv Blanc epicentre of Marlborough, Matua is one of the most famous wine names in NZ - and deservedly so.


Consumers and reviewers are taking notice of this thrillingly zesty SB. Matua Sauvignon Blanc has received several awards, including trophies in both the Hawke’s Bay Wine Awards and Hong Kong International Wine Spirit Challenge. It’s also been rated 90 points by Wine Spectator which is kind of a big deal.


Rated Matua Sauvignon Blanc at 90/100, The Wine Spectator called the wine

“Succulent,” with “fleshy peach and nectarine flavours … accented by key lime, mango and ruby grapefruit notes. Shows nice intensity on the long, expressive finish.”


Vibrant with tropical and citrus flavours, and just a hint of herbs, Matua Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, zingy and well-balanced white wine that's sure to tick all the boxes this Summer.
