It's not Goodbye, it's See You Later

To our incredible community, today is a sombre day for us here at Fitzy's Toowoomba and in line with the newly released legislation from the Federal Government overnight - we are now closed for trade.

The Prime Minister’s announcement last night will give effect to the close down of licensed venues across the state for what is expected to be sometime to come.

While the news actioned last night was a heavy pill to swallow, our number one concern is the safety of our staff, suppliers and patrons. We will of course continue to work with our staff and suppliers to support them as best we can as we navigate through this new territory.

We love this community and appreciate your continued support throughout these unprecedented times.

We know our resilience as a family based business has served us so well for the already decades we have been serving you and rest assured we will reopen when the time comes and continue to provide Toowoomba with a place to meet, a place to enjoy, a place to laugh and a place to escape for just a little while.

So for now, it is not goodbye from us it is simply a “see you later”.

Stay safe all and we are looking forward to the day we get to share a beer together, once more.
